Don't call me old! I'm only 48! I screamed into the phone as tears rolled down my cheeks. You should have seen me in my 20s. I was breathtaking! The most beautiful amongst the ladies... But the line was already disconnected. I sighed in exasperation as I wiped my tears. I remember it all, like it was yesterday. 'Daddy, he must be rich, tall, dark, handsome and ready to spend. He just be intelligent, elegant, gallant, ambitious, with big brown eyes. In fact, he must be a ladies' man... "But, my daughter, where do you hope to find such a man?... I'm now 48; reduced to a Lagos cougar. To be an old maid was never my plan. Though, its now my life.
